Distribution of BUTEX symbols and question patterns
BUTEX Admission Test will be held as per Higher Secondary Level Syllabus. This admission test will be conducted on August 12 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. There will be no MCQ type questions. The exam will be written. There will be questions in both Bengali and English versions. The admission test will be held in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English. Total Marks is 200. The subject wise mark distribution is given below.
- Mathematics – 60
- Chemistry – 60
The merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the admission test. Merit list of those scoring below 40 percent marks in written examination will not be published.
However, the list of maximum 30000 people will be published. The admission committee can change the 40 percent marks determined by the actual requirement.
Department Selection: Candidates will be selected department through interview according to merit order.
On the day of admission test, you should bring the printed admit card and HSC or equivalent exam registration card. During the admission test, the candidate will be identified by matching the original registration card of the applicant with the original registration card of the HSC or equivalent examination. If any discrepancy is found, the candidate’s answer sheet will be cancelled.
