Brief history of Destan
Destan is a Turkish historical drama series produced by Mehmet Bozdag, directed by Amir Khalilzad, Fethi Bayram and Metin Gune, and written by Nehir Erdem and Aye Ferda Erilmaz. The main characters are Ibru Sahin, Oedip Tebeli and Selim Bayraktar. The plot is fictional, inspired by Turkish epics and not from historical reality.
The show tells the story of Akkiz’s epic love story, in which Alpagu Khan kills his father an orphan, and Alpagu’s disabled son Batuga, and their journey to seek justice and avenge Gok Khan.
