Eid-ul-Fitr 2022: Eid Mubarak Wishes, WhatsApp Messages, Facebook Status, Quotes, Images, Photos, Greetings

Preparations for Eid in Bangladesh started from the last quarter of the holy month of Ramadan. Markets and shopping malls became crowded. Those who are away from their families for work or livelihood return to their hometowns and villages to celebrate with their families and relatives. On the night of the moon, children gather in the open field to see the crescent (crescent) of the month of Shawwal. The girls decorate their hands with mehndi.

Like other South Asian countries, lachcha semai (vermicelli) is served in Bangladesh with roti or parota or luchi for breakfast. Then people take part in Eid prayers at Eidgah. The children greet the older members of the family by touching their feet. And the elders give them a small amount of money known as “salami” or “Eid (gift)”, which is a big part of the joy of Eid for children.

Delicious dishes like biryani, polao, pitha, kebab, korma, payes, haluya etc. are served on the dining table. Rich Muslims in Bangladesh also distribute zakat alms among the poor. People go to the homes of relatives, neighbors, friends and greet each other saying “Eid Mubarak” (Happy Eid).

Eid-ul-Fitr marks a time of celebration for millions of Muslims around the world, culminating in the end of Ramadan, or the holy month of fasting and prayer. Eid-ul-Fitr, or Eid-ul-Fitr, or Fenugreek Eid as mentioned, is announced after the sighting of the moon. The day means ‘breaking the fast’.
Most communities around the world will celebrate this auspicious day on May 3, 2022.

The day is marked by prayers, visits to friends and family, and feasts, historically a significant day celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr. Celebrated in the Islamic month of Shawwal, this is our holy month, the month when Prophet Muhammad revealed the Holy Quran.

It is also said that the first Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated in 624 AD after the victory in the battle of Badr.

How is the day celebrated?

Eid-ul-Fitr is usually celebrated in a grand manner, and it is considered to be the biggest Eid celebration in a year. Celebrations usually begin before an evening, when the moon is visible and continue well into the next day. Much like other festivals, feasts, prayers, exchanges of friendships and meeting each other.

Traditional delicacies like Semai and Shir Korma are prepared on this day, on the other hand many more dishes have become popular with the changing customs.

The day ‘Eid Mubarak’ greetings to each other, exchange of gifts. The festival is the happiest occasion for the little ones, who get ‘Eid’, which is usually money, gifts or sweets from adults as a symbol of love.
