We were all expecting an exciting National League Championship Series between the Padres and Phillies.

Philadelphia struck first in Game 1 on Tuesday afternoon as Jack Wheeler’s seven scoreless innings proved too much for San Diego. However, the Padres fought back in Game 2 on Wednesday, scoring seven unanswered runs en route to an 8-5 victory at Petco Park to even the series at 1-1.

They are more nervous. They are playing on their heels. That stuff is real. … It’s a really good team that we’re playing. I’m excited to see how we match up.”
