Preliminary Scholarship Result 2023
The preliminary scholarship exam was held in December, 2022, 13 years after the last one held in 2008. On December 30 last year, a total of six lakh students of class V appeared for the examination. Out of this, 80,000 students will get scholarships.
The results of primary scholarship examinations will be published between February 25 and 28.
PSC Scholarship result online
To check the PSC exam result online, you can follow the steps given below:
- Go to the official website of the Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) at https://www.dpe.gov.bd/ or https://result.dpe.gov.bd/.
- Click on the “PSC/HSC/JSC/Equivalent Result” button.
- Select the “Examination” as “PSC/EBT”.
- Select the “Year” of the exam.
- Select the “Division” from the dropdown menu.
- Select the “District” from the dropdown menu.
- Select the “Thana/Upazila” from the dropdown menu.
- Enter the “Roll Number” of the examinee.
- Type the “Security Code” displayed in the image.
- Click on the “Submit” button.
- The result will be displayed on the screen.
Note that during the result publication period, the website may experience heavy traffic, which can cause delays or difficulties in accessing the result. In that case, you can try again later or check the result via SMS.

To check the PSC exam result via SMS, you can follow the steps given below:
- Go to the SMS option on your mobile phone.
- Type DPE <SPACE> Thana/Upazila Code <SPACE> Roll Number <SPACE> Exam Year and send it to 16222.
For example: DPE 123456 123456 2022
Note: The Thana/Upazila code is the first three letters of the name of the Thana/Upazila where the student appeared in the exam. For example, if the student appeared in the exam in Dhaka, the Thana/Upazila code would be “Dha”.
- You will receive an SMS shortly with the result information.
Note that standard SMS charges will apply for sending the SMS. Also, during the result publication period, the network may experience heavy traffic, which can cause delays or difficulties in receiving the result via SMS.
EBT (Ebtedayee) Scholarship Result via SMS
To check the EBT (Ebtedayee) exam result via SMS, you can follow the steps given below:
- Go to the SMS option on your mobile phone.
- Type EBT <SPACE> Thana/Upazila Code <SPACE> Roll Number <SPACE> Exam Year and send it to 16222.
For example: EBT 123456 123456 2022
