Applications are invited from Bangladeshi citizens who have passed HSC/GCE ‘A’ Level or Equivalent Examination (Science Group) from home and abroad for admission in MIST Undergraduate Programs (Engineering and Architecture).

Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) Admission Eligibility
- SSC or equivalent Applicants who passed the examination in 2019 and 2020 in Science Group Obtaining a minimum GPA of A 4.00 (excluding the fourth subject) on a 5.00 scale.
- HSC (or equivalent): Applicants who passed in 2022 (results published in 2024) and 2023 Obtaining a minimum aggregate grade point of 17 in four subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English).
GCE / A level and O level or equivalent foreign student qualification
- with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English at Applicants who passed in 2022 and 2021 with minimum ‘B’ grade in five subjects
GCE’O’ Level. - Applicants who passed with a minimum of two B grades and one ‘C’ grade in 2023 and 2022 in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at GCE’A’ Level.
- Applicants interested in Biomedical Engineering must have Biology at HSC or equivalent level Minimum grade point A, GCE level equivalent with A or minimum grade point C.
How to apply for online admission
- Apply online at MIST website (www.mist.ac.bd) to complete the application process.
- After that the application has to be submitted.
- After successfully submitting the application, the applicant will receive a username and password.
- Online with that user ID and password, the applicant needs to send an SMS to 16222 from the Teletalk pre-paid mobile phone.
- Application fee is Rs.1000 for Unit A and Rs.1200 for Unit B and Unit (A+B).
Detailed instructions for e-application and fees are submitted on the MIST website.
If both are completed successfully, the applicant will receive a password. An eligible applicant can later download the admit card using SMS.
