Today is the big day for Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. The couple got married in a private ceremony, following weeks of rumors and speculation. The wedding venue was Bastu, Ranbir and Alia live in the Mumbai apartment block.
Who were invited
Only close family members and friends were invited. Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan joined Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Sahni and other Kapoor as Barati. Ladkiwal included Ali’s parents Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Rajdan and sisters Pooja and Shaheen Bhatt. Navya Naveli and parents Shweta Bachchan and Nikhil Nanda were present – Nikhil and Ranbir’s cousin. Akash and Shloka Ambani were on the list of friends Karan Johar, Ayan Mukherjee and Akasha Ranjan. The mother and sister of both the bride and groom were spotted at the wedding venue this morning – Neetu Kapoor went to Bastu with daughter Riddhima and Alia’s mother Soni Rajdan was seen with her eldest daughter Shaheen Bhatt. It is learned that a yellow ceremony has been organized before the wedding this morning. Mehndi was held at Bastu yesterday.
In a recent interaction with, Neetu Kapoor opened up about Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. The Amar Akbar Anthony actor said, “I just love both of them and they are amazing human beings. They complement each other really well, and they are amazing together. I am really hoping everything goes well.”
