SAFF Football 2021: Live Streaming, Team, Fixtures, Results

The the SAFF Championship 2021 is the 13th edition of South Asian International Men’s Football Championship organized by the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF).

Initially, it was decided to be hosted by Pakistan in 2020, but in Bangladesh it was postponed until September 2021. However, the tournament was postponed again in October due to the Covod-19 pandemic epidemic, Now hosted by the Maldives in 2021.

The SAFF Championship Tournament is being held in Maldives from 1 to 16 October 2021.

Organized by the South Asian Football Federation, the 2021 edition of SAF was originally scheduled to be held in Pakistan last year. But epidemics and other factors have delayed the tournament by a year. The Maldives hosts the competition this year.

Pakistan and Bhutan have moved away from the SAF Championship this year, meaning the tournament will be played with only five teams. Pakistan was suspended by FIFA and Bhutan refused to travel to the Maldives to compete after their government refused permission.
India is the most successful country in the tournament with seven titles to its name. Maldives has won the SAF Championship twice and Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka have won the trophy once. The Maldives are the defending champions who won the competition in 2018 by defeating the Blue Tigers.
