Today, devout Muslims are performing the holy Hajj. ‘Labbaik, Allahumma Labbaik, La Sharika Laka Labbaik, Innal Hamda Wanni’ Mata Laka Walmulak. Arafat’s ground is being declared today.
Worshipers take part in the sermon after the Zohar prayers at Arafat Square. Then they will perform Asr prayers. Stay there till sunset and go to Muzdalifah and perform Maghrib and Isha prayers. Stay in the open field there at night. From there you will collect the stones needed to throw stones at the portrait of the devil.
After performing the Fajr prayers in Muzdalifah, some of them will go to Mina by train, some by car and some by walking. Then they will return to their tents. After throwing seven stones at the devil in Mina, he will take a bath by cutting (shaving) the hair of the head with animal sacrifice. Change two pieces of seamless fabric.
Then he will go to Makkah from Mina in normal clothes and will circumambulate the Holy Kaaba seven times. The two hills in front of the Kaaba, Safa and Marwa, will do ‘Sai’ (run seven times). From there they will go to Mina again. After completing the work of the minaret, they will return to their respective countries after performing the farewell Tawaf in Makkah. Those who did not go to Medina before the Hajj will go to Medina.
After throwing stones at the portrait of the devil in Jamara, the pilgrims have to prepare for the animal sacrifice. They will sacrifice tomorrow. Most of the pilgrims go to Mustahalaka (animal market and slaughterhouse) by themselves or with faithful people and offer sacrifices. Some sacrificed by depositing 490 riyals in the Islamic Development Bank (IDB).
